Coriander Seed, Ground 2 oz

$6.86
( 0 Reviews )

Coriander is indigenous to the Mediterranean and the Orient and is related to the parsley family. Although the seeds of this plant are known as coriander, its leaves are better recognized as cilantro. Despite being the same plant, their flavors bear no resemblance. Coriander has a sweet, spicy, woody aroma and a mildly sweet flavor that is reminiscent of oranges and other citrus. It can be used in both savory and sweet dishes, and is a stable ingredient in curries, masalas, stews, sausages, and pickling spice.
